Short Term Accommodation (STA) is sometimes referred to as Respite and is funded through your NDIS Core Supports budget. When staying in STA with Pearson’s Farm there is no out of pocket costs, or hidden costs involved.

When staying with Pearson’s Farm you have a range of opportunities that help to meet your NDIS goals and build your skills. Each stay is tailored to your likes, interests and goals. We work with you or your supports to come up with a STA plan that meets your needs and is tailored for you. We have a team of experienced staff that work with you to make your STA stay a unique and enjoyable experience. You can choose to have 1:1 supports or we can match you with other participants and you can have a shared stay. This helps to preserve your funding while giving you an opportunity to meet new friends and have fun together.
Surround yourself with the beauty of nature when you stay on our 450acre property at Myponga. There is a range of on-site activities including: hiking and nature walks; meeting our cows and horses; being a farmer; seeing all the wildlife including a mob of Kangaroos; and fishing in one of our many dams. At night have a campfire and use our telescope to see the stars and learn about the different constellations.
Myponga farm is also ideally situated, you can go 4WD or tour the Fleurieu peninsula in a hotted up mustang or super car. If you enjoy fishing we can offer a 2hour fishing trip and fingers crossed you can catch a fish for dinner. A day trip out could include visiting walking around Myponga reservoir on the accessible walking track, you can visit the look out. A special treat that we love is a fish and chips lunch on Myponga beach, before exploring more of the Fleurieu peninsula.
This beautiful house is on nearly ½ an acre of land and is fully gated, the master bedroom is huge with a large ensuite. It has a 12m by 6m activity hub, which has a range of activities including: sensory equipment, computers, and so much more!
Visit to our Clarendon farm where you can meet and bottle feed some of our many babies, including Kangaroo Joeys, calves and lambs. Go for a walk around the farm and say hi to our miniature donkeys, horses, sheep, alpaca, chickens and a range of native animals including Kangaroos, bettongs and pademelons.
