Meet Sterling Silver – Our Adorable Highland Calf!

Last week, one of our beautiful Highland girls had her baby, and he is just stunning! He’s a gorgeous silvery-grey colour, so we’ve named him Sterling Silver (but we call him Silver for short). 

However, over the weekend, Farmer James found little Silver alone and clearly very weak. His mum sadly wasn’t interested in him and was trying to join another herd. James made the quick decision to bring Silver back to our other farm and start him on bottle feeds.

It was a little touch-and-go at first, but thanks to lots of care (and bottles every 2–3 hours!), Silver is getting stronger every day. 

We can’t wait to introduce Silver to everyone once he’s big and strong enough — he’s already stolen our hearts, and we know he’ll steal yours too.
