Farm Friends Program
A 10 Week Adventure for Kids!
We’re so excited to launch our Farm Friends Program! A unique 10-week farm adventure designed to nurture social skills, confidence, and empathy through hands-on time with animals, nature, and friends.
*For Children aged 6 to 15 years old*
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4.00pm – 6.00pm
HERE’S A SNEAK PEEK OF WHAT EACH WEEK LOOKS LIKE:
Week 1 – Welcome to the Farm: meet the animals, tour the farm, learn safety rules.
Week 2 – Chickens & Dinosaurs: decorate your own egg, place it in the incubator, and start the chick diary.
Week 3 – Sheep & Wool: brush Ralph & Sam, bottle-feed lambs, wash and dye wool.
Week 4 – Cows & Calves: bottle-feed Silver & Bessie, make butter, candle the eggs.
Week 5 – Pigs & Hatching: meet Kevin Bacon the pig, watch chicks hatch, make a “dingle dangle” farm craft.
Week 6 – Horses & Chicks: groom and lead miniature horses, meet your fluffy chick, make a name card, and take a photo.
Week 7 – Kangaroos: learn about roos, feed joeys carrots, bottle-feed the youngest joeys, weigh your chick.
Week 8 – Rusty the Maremma: brush & walk our guardian dog, decorate a photo frame, play with goats & lambs in their playground.
Week 9 – Farm Adventure: scavenger hunt, help with farm chores, prepare to show families around, weigh chicks again.
Week 10 – Family Celebration: children guide their families to meet the animals, share snacks, enjoy a professional family photo, and celebrate chick graduation.
Over 10 Weeks, Children Will:
Build confidence with animals
Learn responsibility through chick care
Explore sustainability and gardening
Develop empathy through wildlife rescue
Express creativity with farm crafts
Finish with a family celebration
Every child will also receive a special photo with their chick and a certificate of achievement!
