Educational Visits

Pearson's Farm & Animal Rescue - Wildlife Champion

We are Wildlife Champions and live by the Three E’s:

Educating the public on animal welfare issues and habitat destruction.

Experiences that connect people back to nature – to enjoy, learn, and truly understand the value of protecting our ecosystem for all living beings.

Ethical actions – always operating in an open and transparent manner.

Educational Excursions At The Farm

Pearson’s Farm & Animal Rescue is a registered charity located in Clarendon, just 10 minutes from Morphett Vale. We welcome schools, community groups, and organisations for tailored educational programs.

What We Offer:

Customised programs for all ages – from early childhood to seniors, adapted to your group’s learning goals and abilities.

Access to a large barn for lunch breaks – undercover seating, sheltered from the weather.

Program duration designed to suit your group – from 1-hour highlights tours to full-day farm immersion.

Rotating activities – so each group experiences different aspects of farm and animal life (maximum 10 per group).

A trained farm guide – providing engaging education and real rescue stories about our animals.

Hands-on learning stations – animal care, gardening, and farm sustainability activities.

Enrichment activities – collect fresh produce and eggs, then make simple recipes to feed to the animals.

Animal welfare and conservation workshops – tailored to your curriculum or interest area.

Interactive Q&A sessions – with opportunities to ask our team about rescue, rehabilitation, and farming life.

Provision of fact sheets and risk assessments.

Ask us about our exclusive excursions to our cattle farm in Myponga – a hands-on experience where you’ll learn about drenching, tagging, and the day-to-day care of our Speckle Park cattle herd, all while exploring the beautiful surroundings of a working farm.

Meet Kevin Bacon – Our Resident Pig:

Feed Kevin pellets and greens, and watch him happily zoom around his paddock, showing off his playful personality.

Chicken Chat & Egg Collection:

Learn about the important role chickens play on the farm, collect fresh eggs, and use them in a recipe to make a treat for our animals.
