Pearson’s Farm and Animal Rescue
We help save both wildlife and farm animals that have been orphaned or injured and work to either rehabilitate them, return them to the wild, find or provide them with forever homes
We care for multiple different species of birds and animals, including but not limited to, native animals such as: Kangaroos, wallabies, and bettongs. Farm animals such as: cows, horses, sheep as well as over 20 different species of parrots and birds.
Those that come to us for help have generally been orphaned or injured or have been hand reared and come to us for a forever home.
Bird Species
Our property at Myponga provides an ideally release site with native untouched bush land and amble water nearby.
A recent survey found the following bird species:
- Elegant Parrot
- Galah
- White-throated Treecreeper
- Superb Fairywren
- Eastern Spinebill
- Golden Whistler
- Crescent Honyeater
- Striated Pardalote
- White-browed Scrub wren
- Striated Thornbill
- Brown Thornbill
- Grey Shrike thrush
